Title: Modern Reiki Method for Healing
This is one of the most informative books on Reiki ever written (if you can find a copy for a reasonable price that is). The English editing job is atrocious, making it extremely difficult to understand at times, but if you make the effort to figure out what the author is saying you will discover that the book is packed with solid gold.

Although not quite as complete as the title would lead you to believe this is another one of my favorites… these 3 guys together know an incredible amount about Reiki lore.

Title: The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment
While not a Reiki book per se, this incredible book explains the “just for Today” part of the Reiki Principles better than any source I’ve yet to locate. Eckhart does a wonderful job of explaining an extremely complex concept in an easy to follow format that is truly enlightening.

Title: Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind
Another non-Reiki book, this is an excellent read about approaching life through the eyes of a child which is ever so important in acquiring the ability to truly live the “Just for Today” aspect of Reiki.

Another non-Reiki book, this one is an excellent introduction to the Hawaiian Spiritual Practice of Huna. The 7 Principles are discussed in detail as well as practical examples of how to incorporate them into your daily practices.
