I‘d like to talk about the connection of Reiki to something that (for better or worse) has increasingly become the center of many peoples lives… money!!!
Energy Goes Where Attention Flows
As I discussed in my posts on Reiki & the Law of Attraction and Reiki & Abundance, the idea that energy goes where attention flows is an important idea as far as Reiki and money is concerned. Many people have a love it, hate it relationship in regard to money (love it when they have it, hate it when they don’t) which can lead to all types of warped perceptions. Teh bottom line is that you have a greater chance of attracting money if you focus on attracting it (as opposed to focusing on being without it).
Reiki & Money
I have heard many different opinions about the idea of charging money for Reiki Healing and/or Reiki training. Complaints of overcharging for healing, overcharging for training, undercharging for training, etc. abound and while there is no definitive answer there are a few considerations to bear in mind. First of all, people’s belief systems are not all the same… and while this simple observation may come as somewhat of a surprise to many people, it is ultimately true… people just don’t seem agree on everything! But that’s alright… I guarantee you that if we did, the world would be a much more boring place.
Since we don’t agree on everything, there is a lot of negativity out there as far as money is concerned. This is where Reiki can be a big help. If you stuff a ten dollar bill into your wallet that is charged with negative energy, that energy will spread to its newfound friends. To avoid that, simply apply Reiki to your money when you get it with the intention of clearing away any negative energies, and voila… it is laundered… so to speak. ๐
Secondly, Reiki has the ability to empower the things it comes into contact with, and yes, this is also true of money. If you apply Reiki to your money when you get it with the intention of empowering it… that will strengthen it, not only physically and energetically, but also mentally, in regard to your own beliefs and attitudes towards it.
Yes, money is one of those “can’t live with it can’t live without it” things… but if given a choice, I do believe I would go with the former… ๐
