Welcome to the 2008 Reiki Alphabet Challenge!!! Its great to have you here!!! This challenge is designed to give you something new to Reiki every day by giving you a new letter to focus on each day. Hopefully, by the end of the challenge you will have Reikied things you hadn’t considered before and thereby increased the boundaries of your Reiki world. So let’s get started…
Today’s letter is “R” and our focus is on Recovery… here’s what Lynda has to say about it…
Recovery can mean many different things. We may be recovering from a lifetime of trauma, from a tough day, from a stressful phone call, from a major illness or surgery, from an injury, from addiction, or simply from pushing too hard. I do find that most of us seem to be recovering from one thing or another much of the time. 😉
Reiki is a perfect assist to recovery of all forms and again can work on any time frame. So for today focus on something that either you or somebody close to you is recovering from.
First send Reiki to the person in the here and now. Then send Reiki to the origin of the issue (even if you don’t know; just intend to heal the origin) and to the future reconciliation of the issue (again, no specifics are necessary). Just support the origin, the present, and the future end.
This practice may even help point you to a resolution. Reiki always goes where it’s needed for the highest good, so it certainly won’t hurt!
I agree with Lynda, I think that we are probably all recovering from something, and during the recovery stage Reiki is just as important as we ease our way back into full balance. Thanks again Lynda!!
