Usugi Gongen

As those who have been observant have no doubt noticed, I’ve been hinting at this for awhile and at long last the big day is here.

It is with great pleasure that I would like to formally announce the very first ever Reiki – What It All Be Like Reiki Contest. I will be sending the winner(s) of this inaugural contest a (drum roll please)…

Distance Reiki Attunement directly from Usugi Gongen!!!

on beautiful Mt. Kurama… the exact spot where Dr. Usui is believed to have originally received the very first Reiki energy transmission.

How to Enter the Contest

The rules for entry are quite simple but need to be followed exactly for consideration.

  • Step 1: For those that haven’t already… register to this site. To the right under the meta category there is an option to register. Please enter your desired user name and email address. A password will then be sent to you.
  • Step 2: Send an email to reiki (at) whatitallbelike.com with the following…. your name, your username (if different), your Reiki level and the name of your Reiki teacher. Also attach a recent picture of yourself (this is necessary for the Reiki attunement).
  • Step 3: Write a comment to any post you like. Make sure to log in before posting and then under each post there is a comment box. Make your comments GOOD as these are what you are being judged on.
  • Step 4: Sit back and wait for the winners to be announced.

That’s all there is to it… register, email, comment(s), wait.

Assorted Contest Rules

  • The more comments you make, the greater your chances of success.
  • Only legitimate comments will be considered… posts like “I agree with this” will be discarded.
  • Winners will be chosen on the contribution their posts make.
  • The number of winners chosen will be on a scale of 1:10… for every 10 comments made… one winner will be chosen (or 1:100 if the board gets swamped).
  • Comments already made are already eligible (as long as the other steps are followed).
  • No certificates or training will be given… only the energies will be sent.

  2. First of all, I would like to say thank you and send my gratitude for this gift…

As you are 13 hours ahead of me, I was in bed at the time that the attumemnet actually took place. However, I used the Hon Sha Zei Sho Nen to connect into the attumement in my meditation prior to going to bed. I have to say that I felt a lot of light im my meditation as well as energy flowing into my fields and into my body. I did awake at the time that you would have been doing the attunements and felt tremendous joy and light. I actually felt as if my body was nothing but light and this feeling continued as i fell back asleep. When I awoke in the morning, I again had the experience of being just pure light as I felt the Reiki energies filling my body and my fields. Today I have felt the Reiki energy in full force as a comforting warmth throughout my body and have felt this energy just flowing through me as I have been going about my day.

Again, many thanks for the gift of the attumement,
    In Light,
    Eric

  3. Hi Eric,

    You are quite welcome!!

For some reason you were the most difficult to connect to today. I felt like you were perhaps sleeping very soundly, but finally I was able to connect and it went very well from there. I found your energy to be quite gentle and subtle and I also experienced a lot of light on this end during your attunement. I’m very happy you had a good experience and hope the added energies come in handy.

    Love & Light,
    Duane

  4. Hello Duane!
Thank you very much for the gift of Reiki…

As the attunements were supposed to be given at midnight my time,
around 11pm I went to bed and did a long reiki meditation, opening the chakras and repeating the symbols… I fell asleep and woke up about 12.30 and didn’t feel much different, but after half an hour my hands got got very hot, and that’s when I knew Reiki is at work…
My hands stayed hot for the whole day tomorrow, which is not normal for me since my hands are always cold
(besides when I do reiki of course).
Sunday morning my hands felt stronger,if that makes any sense…

    Thanks again!
    Love, light and energy,

  5. Hi curlyone,

    You are quite welcome!!

Yes, it does snound like Reiki at work. Thanks for the report!!! It is always interesting to hear the many different ways Reiki attunements manifest themselves in different people at different times. Especially seeing the Master Symbol in action… it never fails to amaze me.

By the way, I found your energy to be of a very giving nature and also very targeted if that makes any sense to you.

Thanks again for the posts and for the attunement report! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Love & Light,
    Duane
