Reiki Bath

In Japan, taking a bath is one of the simpler pleasures that has become a national pastime… if not an obsession. Since Japan is so crowded, taking a bath is one of the few times you can be alone with your thoughts, and it is basically a meditation in and of itself… so applying Reiki to it really is a natural application of those power Reiki energies.

My own daily bath practice is not so different from the traditional Japanese style bath. You begin outside the tub, where wash your body, and then you enter the tub… where you wash your spirit. I currently use any or all of the following to supplement the Reiki Bath experience:

  • Aromatherapy (at present I am enjoying a powerful Marjoram/Lavender/Hinoki blend… more information here)
  • Relaxing Music (at present I am listening to Kirtana)
  • Candle(s) (great meditational aid)
  • Green Tea (relaxing yet stimulating… more information here)
  • Rubber Ducky (makes a great surrogate for sending Distance Reiki)

One of the wonders of the Reiki Bath… for those who are able to experience it… is the wonderful Reiki Prism effect achieved when Reiki is done in the bath. I can quite clearly see a rainbow emanating from my hands which was one of my earliest Reiki experiences. To achieve this, I start with my hands about 3 inches under the water and about 6 inches apart and start the Reiki energies. As the energy grows I slowly move my hands further and further apart and then I quickly separate them and spread the Reiki through the tub. Give it a try!!!

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
