I‘m not going to go into an in-depth discussion about Angels, as there are far too many interpretations and religious underpinnings, but I’d like to quickly discuss a recent Reiki encounter I’ve had with what are commonly referred to as Angels that I thought y’all might be interested in.

First off, I’m of the opinion that there are energy beings that are helping us along. Religious implications can be attached or these energies can be looked at from a purely scientific perspective (should science be excluded, for some reason, from categorizing itself as a religion). Whatever these energy beings are, they have consciousness and are in all likelihood actually more profoundly aware than most of us. Since Reiki and religion are not married and need not be associated with each other to any degree (unless the Reiki practitioner feels some need to do so) these energies are neither good nor bad, and carry no moral or ethical considerations. They just are… and I’d like to leave it at that if I may.

Since these beings have consciousness they have the capacity for communication, although it is quite difficult to communicate directly with them, they seem to again, have a higher degree of communicative ability than most of us. Which means that they can hear and comprehend us, even if we have difficulty in hearing and comprehending them.

Having such a high degree of awareness, it should be obvious that they are quire aware of Reiki. The question is… what do they think about it and how do they associate with it, if in fact they do. I recently made contact with an angel (through one of my many esoteric practices) and I asked specifically about Reiki. It is rare that I actually remember in detail what happens during these sessions, and in this case I can’t actually quote the angel, although I could remember the essence of what was discussed.

My understanding was that it was angels that assisted Dr. Usui in discovering Reiki and whenever we connect with Reiki, a beacon of light is sent up into the heavens which attracts many energy beings… among them angels who are like the policemen, keeping away the negative energies and prompting the positive energies to assist. Again, I can’t be more specific as that is all I remember, but it certainly adds a nice touch to the Reiki matrix… unless, of course, it was just some bizarre dream…. in which case, it still adds a nice touch!! Don’t you think???
