reiki-confessions

Was it John Lennon who said “Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans”? I believe so, and boy was he right!!!

I started blogging about Reiki about a year and a half ago, and let me tell you it was pretty tough getting a Reiki Blog started. Once some momentum built up it was pretty easy to keep it going and new ideas and fodder for posts just seemed to be appearing from nowhere. Unfortunately, since letting that momentum drop its become much more difficult to get started again. Many famous author’s claim that there’s a muse that is necessary for writing, and blogging is no exception to that rule. Without the spark provided by that muse, the posts just don’t have life and that lack of life is somewhat demotivating… not to mention the posts are not really worth reading.

Reiki Blogging not only needs this writing muse, but also requires the Reiki muse… that inspiration that keeps Reiki fresh and exciting. The two of these need to be present together in order to produce anything Reiki related worth reading. My stance is basically not to publish anything that is not worth reading… hence, the silence. That doesn’t mean the two muses haven’t been around… they just haven’t been around together… until today… and I will do my best to keep them together so that we can get back on track.

In the meantime you may be asking yourselves what you can do to help… Easy!! Take advantage of the post index to the right and find something to comment on. Your comments fuel the flames, not only for myself, but for many others reading (or checking back and hoping to read… as the case may be).

I also appreciate all the Reiki energy being sent to me. Being in Japan puts me pretty close to the source of Reiki, but the energies are universal and I’ve never grown tired of experiencing new energies being sent to me from my valued readers. Reiki may come from the same source, but I’ve always found each person’s individual Reiki to be quite unique. I don’t know if its a DNA imprint or something, or if these different energies possess different strengths and weaknesses… that’s a post for another day.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
