As a guitarist I was pleasantly surprised to discover an application of Reiki for musicians. I hope this post doesn’t start a new religion or anything, but I feel the applications of Reiki for guitarists specifically, and Reiki for musicians in general, are well worth a peek.
As I play my guitar I simply pass Reiki energy through my hands and into the guitar… which then projects that Reiki energy in the form of music. My guitars have long been attuned to Reiki energy (yes they have each received their Master Level Reiki attunements and certification 🙂 ) if not actually being tuned to the tuning fork… so they are no strangers to the unique Reiki energy. Country & Western Reiki, Jazz Reiki, Classical Reiki, Blues Reiki and of course Rock & Roll Reiki have all been successfully channeled with very nice results.
Amplified Reiki (amplifying and channeling Reiki energy while using an electric guitar amplifier) is a whole new way of making sure Reiki energy gets out to the masses. The frequency of the Reiki is added to the frequency of the notes and voila… Reiki Guitar!
