We’ve got some great stuff lined up for you, some amazing sites to visit, some free attunements as well as the cooperation of the entire universe which promises to make this the Reiki event of the year. More is being added every day and if it goes as well as we anticipate my intention is to make it a yearly event with new exercises and new techniques added every year.
So without further adieu, let’s get ready for the Challenge!!!
30 Day Reiki Challenge Preseason
The 30 Day Reiki Challenge Preseason is designed to get you ready for the next 30 days. Just a few hints and tips to make the experience all that more enjoyable.
- First off, we recommend that you solicit the help of a few friends and/or family members. There are some hands-on (as well as hands-off) techniques that you may want to practice on other people for the greatest effect. Having a few people lined up to give Reiki treatments to, to practice Reiki scanning (don’t worry… we’ll cover the details later) and to send distance Reiki healing to will eliminate the need for you to find them later.
- Next off, we recommend that you change your diet for the 30 Days of the Challenge. Don’t worry, we’re not forcing everyone to go on Atkins (although if you’ve been looking for an excuse to lose a few pounds the 30 Day Reiki Challenge will help you tremendously towards that end). Rather, since the food you bring into your body has a tremendous effect on the quality of your energy we’d like you to do what you can to make sure you are getting highly nutritious, high Reiki energy food. For example, we recommend limiting the intake of high caffeine or high sugar products like coffee (try switching to Green Tea instead), eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, and trying to maintain as healthy a diet as you can. This is a good opportunity to try a Green Tea or Herbal Diet, a Vegetarian Diet or any other healthy alternative. And, of course, you should always consult a physician if there are any medical concerns.
- We recommend drinking as much water as possible during the 30 Day Reiki Challenge. Think Camel!!! Water cleanses pollutants out of your body and continuously flushing your body of toxins with plenty of fresh water gives you a higher energetic capacity. This will also help you considerably in meeting your Reiki Challenge goals (which will be determined in Week 1).
- Weekend fasting for those with free weekends is another possibility. Taking this challenge as a chance to completely flush out your system may be exactly what you need. If you schedule a weekend fast for the next four weekends, you may be surprised at the difference it makes energetically.
- The 30 Day Reiki Challenge is also a great habit busting opportunity. If you have an addiction to caffeine, alcohol, non-prescription drugs, chocolate (I know… that’s a tough one to break) and/or tobacco… or any other stress related addiction, the next 30 Days can provide a cushion for any withdrawal symptoms that might be normally experienced. Again, consult a physician if there are any medical concerns, if not, take this opportunity to not only make a push towards catapulting your Reiki to higher levels, but to also push those things out of your life that need not be there.
- If you do not have a daily meditation scheduled into your day, we recommend trying it for the next 30 days. Everyone seems to have a schedule that de-prioritizes things like mediation, but if you look hard enough, with just a minimum of time management, you should be able to squeeze it in. Ideally, we recommend an hour a day, but if that is not possible, go for a half-hour or even 20 minutes if that’s all you can afford. Daily meditations, once you get in the habit, can improve your life on many levels. We’ll talk more about that in the Challenge, especially in Week 4, but if you want a head start… here’s an open invitation. Find some soothing meditation music, candles for the bath, meditational mandalas, incense or aromatherapy supplements, whatever floats your boat (literally!).

Keep in mind that these are all just suggestions and we will be returning to several of them throughout the Challenge. In our experience they can make your Reiki stronger and your 30 Day Challenge experience all the more powerful, ultimately, of course, the choice is yours as to how far you want to push this thing. ![]()
30 Day Reiki Challenge Forum
I’m not sure if you guys want it or not, but I’ve had an offer to set up a forum for us (within these pages) for communication during the Challenge. Please use the comment feature (below) to give a thumbs up if you’re interested so we can have it installed before Kick-Off (yes, the Olympics has brought out all my sports terminology… hopefully they will fade away over the coming weeks). So again, if you want a forum for discussion as we go along, let me know and it will be done… if not the commenting features should be able to handle all of our communication.

Okay, that’s intended more for me than you… I’m pretty excited about all of this… but its of primary consideration for everyone throughout the challenge. If the given task for the day seems too difficult, don’t worry about it. Give it a shot, take your time and never feel that this is a race for completion. These pages will always be here for you to come back to at your leisure. Do what you can and rest assured that even the tasks that you don’t complete will have a way of entering your psyche and they will have an effect whether you complete them or not so long as you give them a go. Of course the greater your success in actually completing them, the greater your chance of reaching the goals you set for the challenge, but remember, Reiki is all about eliminating stress, so this challenge should not cause you any negative stress whatsoever… if it does, you’re approaching it the wrong way. To get the most out of it, relax, take it easy, and enjoy the challenge.
