reiki-rut

In a rut? Spinning your wheels? Feel like a hamster on a treadmill? Are you taking 3 steps backwards for every 3 steps forward? Are the rats winning the rat race? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions have no fear!! Reiki is here!!!

What Exactly is a Rut?

Ruts are caused by energy blocks, but instead of the energy block appearing in front of you, it is at the sides, so that you are free to move forwards (and backwards) but unable to move sideways, which prevents you from passing, taking side trips (or shortcuts), changing to the fast lane or enjoying three dimensional travel (for those of us who are inclined to do so).

The biggest problem with being in a rut is that you usually don’t know you are in one until you’ve been in it for awhile and either someone points it out to you, or you realize for yourself that you have stopped noticing (and hence enjoying) life’s little diversions.

Reiki to the Rescue

Generally speaking, when we apply Reiki we do so to something that’s right in front of us and easily noticeable. Something we can put our hands on… so to speak. Blocks that are flanking us from the sides are not as easy to get to (largely because they are unnoticed). In order to use Reiki for ourselves, or others, who are in a rut it is necessary to apply Reiki to the causes of the blocks themselves, which in the case of a rut may include any (or all) of the following:

  • non-willingness to make a change
  • fear of the unknown
  • comfort in the way things are
  • inertia or lack of motivation, incentive or desire
  • fear of losing what we already have
  • clinging to or living in the past
  • downright stubbornness
  • discomfiture in the excitement involved in changing
  • shyness or unease in meeting new people
  • failure to communicate your feelings to others
  • the obvious ones that I always seem to miss

In order to get out of the rut, these are the types of things that Reiki must be applied to if you are to have any chance of success. Other healing modalities like EFT, Massage, Hypnosis, Acupuncture/Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Qi Gong, Reflexology, Quantum-Touch Healing, Yoga, etc. can also be used together with Reiki to increase the odds of success as can properly directed meditation and/or affirmation practice.

It has been my experience that the longer a problem exists the more difficult it is to deal with. A rut takes time to develop, so it will also take time to eliminate, so the above mentioned therapies can greatly speed up the process… and if you want to virtually guarantee your chances of success… use them all!!!

  1. Reiki and EFT complement each other very well. Following your intuition is the best approach to determine what is the best option for the needs of the client.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
