After a major computer meltdown late last night, today’s post is a combination reminder to Reiki your computer and test to see if I’ve succeeded in restoring order to the universe.
First of all, in case you didn’t know, yes you can give Reiki to all animate or inanimate things and in regard to yesterday’s post about Ho’oponopono and Reiki Aka Cords do exist between you and your stuff <technical term> and thus there is an exchange of energy taking place, for better or worse. If you’ve ever gotten angry at your computer (I know…. you’ll never admit to breaking one of the Reiki precepts) it will hold that anger and the happiness (or positive feelings) we alternately feel don’t necessarily cancel out that anger (or any other negative energies we may have contributed). A good healthy dose of Reiki, on the other hand, does cancel it out quite effectively.
Some teachers recommend that you remove your watch when doing Reiki because the Reiki energy is too strong for such devices, but I’ve never had a problem with any of my watches. Recently the cell phone has replaced the watch as the timeteller of preference anyway, so there is less and less chance of watches being zapped <another technical term>. On the flip side of the coin I’ve heard of Reiki practitioners charging their watch batteries with Reiki (or bringing dead batteried <is that a word?> watches back to life), and in that regard I’ve given Reiki to dead car batteries to get that one last charge needed to get on the road again.
My own practice is to give generous doses of the Reiki Power Symbol to my computers on a regular basis. The thought that it doesn’t work did cross my mind last night when I was giving this computer CPR… but that was quickly countered by the thought that it may have given out a long time ago had I not, and the timing could have been much worse… so I think I’ll keep up the practice. How about you?
For further explanation or discussion, your thoughts are most welcome and highly encouraged, please feel free to comment below!!!

Hello Duane,
I\’ve never given my computer Reiki.
I have always wondered if Reiki might make it work better or send it bonkers!!
I used to take my watch off, but I tend to leave it on now. (However, it is a traditional, old watch and doesn\’t have a battery).
I am now seriously considering giving my computer Reiki now, after your post here.
I won\’t admit to getting angry with my computer, but I\’ve certainly got frustrated some times.
I\’ll give it a go. Thanks for the tip.
Angel cuddles,
Sarah
I Reiki My computer on a regular basis to keep the connection between myself and it. Before I started doing this, I used to “Zap” (there’s that technical word again!) hard drives and burn them out. Yes – I used to burn watches out on a regular basis too until I learned how to sync with them! I now Reiki all of my electronics to keep their and my energies in harmony so that I don’t ‘fry’ them. This is actually something that my Reiki Teacher taught me and also something that I pass along to my students.
Eric
