As a follow up to yesterday’s post I’d like to extend my application of Reiki for Musicians to Reiki for Artists… as the extension seems quite natural. The ability to channel Reiki energy through a guitar (or any other musical instrument for that fact) is such a simple application of the Reiki energy… and channeling that Reiki energy through a paintbrush is no less simple and no less effective.

The technique is simple… just connect to the Reiki energy before beginning and allow the energy to flow through you as you work. You may be pleasantly surprised at the inspirations that accompany that energy, propelling your work to unimagined heights. This technique can be applied to painting (e.g., oil, acrylic and watercolor), sculpture (e.g., wood, clay and stone), woodblock printing, photography, or any other artistic medium. Just connect to Reiki and apply as needed. Also be sure to give Reiki to your creation when its finished. That will add an energetic component to it that may (or may not) have existed previously.

An additional technique for Reiki Masters in the creation of Reiki Art is to actually give a Reiki attunement to your tools and your art… it can’t hurt… and the added energy may be just what’s needed… 🙂
