Welcome to the 2008 Reiki Alphabet Challenge!!! Its great to have you here!!! This challenge is designed to give you something new to Reiki every day by giving you a new letter to focus on each day. Hopefully, by the end of the challenge you will have Reikied things you hadn’t considered before and thereby increased the boundaries of your Reiki world. So let’s get started…

Today’s letter is “N” and our focus is on “Next”. I must admit I was a bit intrigued by that choice of letter… until I read Lynda‘s interesting explanation, that is… have a look:

While Reiki does teach us to live, be, and act from the present, we often still worry a lot about what’s coming next. Often we worry because we simply do not know, or because we think we know. Either way it is detrimental to our enjoyment of our gift, our present.

So for today’s challenge we will try to alleviate our anxiety about the next thing. For this anxiety we can use the first and second reiki symbols, giving a power boost and an emotional calming effect. Picture the symbols at your crown sinking in and working their energy down through your entire body. I promise that by the end you will feel so good you won’t even care what’s next!

You can add this symbol integration before giving a treatment when you, your client, or both are very anxious about what’s Next. And you can also send these symbols with your Reiki to whatever is upcoming next in your life, to your future self, to maintain the emotional calm.

The second Reiki principle came to my mind when reading this, so whatever life has in store for you… don’t worry!
