They say that youthful looks are the result of a youthful exuberance, and while that may or may not be true I know that if used correctly, Reiki can help you to stay young while if used incorrectly, like many forms of energy healing, the results can be quite the opposite.
In order to be aimed at the dis-ease of old age, Reiki needs to be used at the cellular level for nuclear rejuvenation. To do so you merely set that as your intent and focus on re-energizing tired energy at the most fundamental level. This needs to be done regularly and if combined with other techniques or preventive measures the results can be amazing.
One of the dangers of Qi Gong is that it can deprive you of vital life force energy if used incorrectly. That is the main reason I generally veer as far away from Qi Gong as possible. In order to use Qi Gong, you must charge up your body with the energy you will later utilize. If you use Qi Gong without having enough energy stored for what you are doing, the exercise will substitute stored energy for your own life-force energy. That alone should be reason enough to be wary about it.
The same is true for Reiki, if you do not allow the energy to enter in through your crown chakra and channel naturally, you may very well be using your own energy, which, rather than supporting youth will make you grow incredibly old, incredibly fast. That alone should be reason enough to be wary about who you trust to teach you how to do Reiki.
There are Aromatherapy blends for skin repair and rejuvenation which work the same way as the Reiki outlined above. Those essential oils (one of the best being Carrot Seed Oil) refresh skin at the cellular level and if used in conjunction with Reiki, the effects, again, can be most satisfying.
It is said that a youthful attitude also effects your appearance. Experiencing the world through the zen mind, or the eyes of a child do exactly that and can go a long way towards allowing your body to reflect your mind.
A good night’s sleep is also essential, and as I’ve stated before, one of the greatest benefits of Reiki meditation is the most restful and relaxing sleep you can possibly enjoy. The hormones secreted during sleep and deep meditation not only make you feel better, but make you look better as well.
Finally, living a stress free life is probably the best way to retain your youth. Again, Reiki, for stress reduction/elimination is second to none and is just a side benefit of this wonderful practice.

I remember going to a Reiki healer with my mom a long time ago. after the session both the healer and I said “hey susan(or mom) you look 10 years younger!
