Reiki Coffee

If you’re like me, no morning is complete without the Coffee Ritual. Is it an addiction? Dunno… don’t care… Barring compelling evidence for eliminating this ritual, it shows no signs of being replaced, so I’ve decided… why not make the best of it?

Morning Ritual

Any type of repetitive practice is ripe for an introduction to Reiki, and the Morning Coffee Ritual is no exception. Mindless activities are the best (watching TV, eating, sleeping, etc.) but any activity that will prompt a Reiki Session will do quite nicely. I’ve spoken before of the Reiki Tunnel where I posted “I donโ€™t really recall exactly why, I started focusing on Reiki whenever I went through this particular tunnel and before long it got to be a habitโ€ฆ” which describes the development of a Reiki Anchor (something that automatically brings your thoughts to Reiki). In that many people are not thinking all too clearly before the Coffee Ritual, a Coffee Cup with Reiki, I Love Reiki, ้œŠๆฐ—, or any variation thereof which might prompt you to action… I’ve seen them advertised and they are not so hard to find… might be a good idea.

Coffee Gazing

An integral part of my Morning Coffee Ritual is staring into the coffea canephora and sending Distance Reiki to whatever or whoever comes to mind. Invariably something will spring to mind (a person or a situation) and I just draw the Distance Reiki Symbol (and whatever other symbols are needed) over the coffee and/or mentally chant the Reiki mantra, and spend a moment or two sending Reiki. It only takes a minute and really tends to set the day off on the right track.

In Reiki on the Run I gave some tips for incorporating Reiki into your busy schedules and Coffee Gazing, whether done in the morning and/or at any coffee break is a wonderful application. Of course tea, hot cocoa or even water can be substituted, as can any food or drink that can be used as a Reiki Anchor. Give it a try… as Tony the Tiger says…. its great!!!

  1. Two lumps for me ๐Ÿ˜‰ !
I wasn’t thinking of these as a ritual, but your words just made me realize that is exactly what they are…

    Lump one…
Whenever I pass a car accident on the road, or see an ER rushing through traffic I immediately send Reiki to everyone involved. My hands become hot in an instant!

    Lump two…
Also a lot of times I see an unknown person for who in some strange way I can sense that is not happy… and with consent from their Higher Self start visualizing distant healing healing symbol and do a Reiki session for as long as the person is in my presence and then ask Reiki to continue flowing for a certain period of time if needed. Most of the time person is not even aware of anything on the conscious level, but often I can sense the change or see their face expression change for the better, sometimes by the time I am done even a smile sneaks on their face, and that is a reward in itself!

I hope your coffee is as or more rewarding…
Thank you for sharing it with us.
    Light, love and energy…

  2. I like to use the time I spend on my computer to send Reiki, whether it be through emails that I am sending to friends, or in response to news articles like the recent earthquake in China. I find it the perfect time to send Reiki to areas and people in need. I simply draw or mentally invoke the appropriate symbols and ask the energy to go where it is needed most.
